It’s a chance to:Innovate – Design electronics for life-changing products that empower independence.Collaborate – Work alongside systems engineers, clinicians, and manufacturing partners to bring ideas to life.Impact Lives – Every circuit you design contributes to someone walking, running, or living without limits.What You’ll DoDesign a mixture of digital and analogue circuitry for cutting-edge medical devices.Create flex-rigid PCBAs to maximise functionality in space-constrained devices.Optimise designs for usability and battery efficiency, ensuring long-lasting performance for users.Develop innovative electronic designs using Altium or similar ECAD tools.Translate user needs into robust technical solutions.Drive verification and validation activities to ensure safety and compliance.Lead technical reviews and champion best practices.Support production and sustain legacy products while managing component obsolescence.Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and EMC standards.Explore emerging technologies and integrate them into our roadmap.Build strong partnerships with suppliers for quality and timely delivery.Contribute to Hazard Analysis and DFMEA for electronics.What We’re Looking ForDegree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.Proven track record in electronics design engineering.Hands-on experience with: Altium or similar ECAD toolsSchematic design, DFM/DFTPCBA debug, test, and integrationEMC countermeasures/testingNPI and product sustainingKnowledge of global quality/regulatory standards and risk management.Ability to design complex, real-time processor-controlled architectures.A natural collaborator who builds trust and inspires confidence.What’s In It For YouCompetitive salary and benefits.Flexible, hybrid working with early Friday finish.25 days holiday (plus option to buy more).Pension, health cash plan, cycle-to-work scheme.Discounts on shopping and leisure.Be part of an award-winning organisation that lives by its values: Courage | Learning | Collaboration | Innovation | IntegrityReady to Make a Difference?If you’re excited by the idea of using your skills to create technology that changes lives, we’d love to hear from you.
