Main Responsibilities As the successfulMaintenance Fitter , youll provide an effective link between the Operations and Engineeringteam. Delivering a high level of service quality to varied Mechanical Engineering related activities. You will be working closely with all members of thefacility, reporting directly to the Mechanical Supervisor and Quarry Managerin effectively carrying out preventative maintenance tasks and responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs with a keen eye for continuous improvement. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have previousMaintenance Fitter experience or experience in industrialmaintenance (preferably on quarry sites) or be a competent auto mechanicalthough experience in similar industries will be considered. TheMaintenance Fitter will have the ability to find solutions to maintenance issues and complete preventive maintenance inspections on the mobile plant equipment. Qualifications Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent Computer literate. Familiarity with computer software (word, excel, etc.) Why Tarmac We don't just offer a job, we offer a career.
