Are you a talented client Account Manager looking for a career within a market leading Agency and Communications company?My client is looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to join their client services team and grow the opportunities presented by an existing, retained client. I am looking for a creatively-astute, organised self-starter who is able to develop the key client relationships as well as liaise with a small on-site team.The role is Hybrid and will involve some travel to their office in Greater Manchester and monthly visits to the onsite team in the South of the UK.The successful candidate will be working with a highly skilled and motivated team, and will be responsible for proactively building client relationships, looking for opportunities to assist their business by introducing agency and group services. What will you be doing as Account Manager:
  • Act as the daily point of contact for all work coming into the agency
  • Working with the Account Director, developing and delivering the clients’ marketing and advertising strategies
  • Ensuring the commercial viability of the client for the Agency, while representing value to the client
  • Promoting the expansion of business and projects with the client
  • Know all there is to know about the client’s product or service, the market and its customer
  • Assist the client in solving creative, digital and studio-based marketing challenges
  • Work closely with the client to plan campaigns and projects and input into any strategic projects
  • Work with a small on-site creative team, motivating them to provide exceptional levels of quality including scheduling artwork and design tasks
  • Prepare creative, digital and studio briefs that meet client requirements
  • Oversee the various production stages each project goes through, coordinating relevant operational leads as required
  • Present creative and design solutions, ensuring they meet marketing objectives
  • Work with operational leads to ensure the team runs efficiently and successfully, taking personal responsibility for delivery of all projects
  • Execute detailed amends to a very high standard of accuracy and oversee QC of the studio team
  • Manage weekly and monthly reporting requirements
 What you need to bring to the role:
  • Proven account management and client services experience within an agency environment
  • A background in advertising, design, branding, or client side marketing roles
  • A track record in managing and developing retained clients to deliver significant margin as an Account Manager
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary management
  • Effective team management capabilities including the ability to motivate and organise the on-site team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to schedule and manage workload
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills to support the sell-in of creative and design
  • Willing to spend time on-site with the client
