This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while studying for aLevel 3 Early Years Educator qualification.Apprenticeship SummaryHours:MondayFriday (35 hours per week shifts to be confirmed)Pay:8.58 per hour (first 12 months) then National Minimum WageQualification:Level 3 Early Years Educator ApprenticeshipDuration:19 monthsTraining:Online learning with regular support from a dedicated tutor at LMP Education as well as your in-school mentorLocation: Oasis Limeside Third Avenue Oldham OL8 3SBKey ResponsibilitiesAs an Early Years Educator Apprentice you will:Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.To create a welcoming and inclusive environment foster positive relationships with children parents and colleagues and liaise with appropriate external agencies.Work with teachers and teams to differentiate teaching resources materials and delivery.Participate in planning implementing and evaluating learning activities with the teacher providing feedback to the teacher and children on their progress next steps and behaviour.Support the teaching by monitoring assessing and recording pupils progress and next steps.Assist in the creation development and review of individual pupil development plans (such as Education and Health Care Plans (ECHP))Support students in developing and implementing their own personal and social development.Assist the children with their physical care routines whilst encouraging their independence e.g. changing nappies eating dressing washing hands etc.Participate in staff team and planning meetings.What Were Looking ForPersonal Qualities:Passionate about working with young childrenFriendly caring and nurturing approachReliable punctual and committed to the rolePositive attitude and willingness to learnStrong communication and teamwork skillsDesired Skills & Qualifications:5 GCSEs (grades A*-C/9-4) including English and Maths or equivalent (e.g. Functional Skills Level 2)Previous experience with children is a bonus but not essentialFuture ProspectsOpportunity forfull-time employmentat the academy upon successful completion of the apprenticeshipOngoing professional development and career progression within the Oasis Community Learning TrustImportant InformationAll apprentices must complete anEnhanced DBS checkbefore startingYou will be paid for both your working hours and time spent completing apprenticeship trainingThis vacancy may close early if a suitable candidate is foundShortlisted applicants will have an initial screening call followed by an in-person interviewAbout Us:Oasis Limeside is a dynamic inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 11 years.
