Payroll Manager

Our client is a well-established muti-site business operating in over 40 locations across the country. They are currently looking to appoint a Payroll Manager to oversee the payroll team at their head office near to Weymouth, Dorset.What will the Payroll Manager role involve?Training and development of the payroll team;Implementing, maintaining and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, pensions and other deductions;Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and changes to pay rates;Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports of payroll transactions;Auditing the payroll to ensure it satisfies all government regulations;Managing and supporting the payroll team;Leading on payroll projects;Ensuring payroll accounts are fully reconciled;Identifying improvements to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Manager vacancy:Strong staff management experience, ideally to have included some payroll staff;Understanding of payroll and tax regulations.Additional benefits and information for the role of Payroll Manager: An excellent opportunity to make improvements in processes;Good opportunity for future progression.CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
