Working in cross-functional squads our collective helps to tackle crime in a growing adversarial space ensuring that Monzo can thrive and grow safely whilst providing our customers with a seamless experience.What youll be working on :Youll have an exciting role to play as a Product Manager of our brand new FinCrime Action squad dedicated to solving for all customer and regulatory actions including exits defunds banning Fincrime investigation tooling and more. Working alongside others with deep ML platform and Risk experience youll help pave the way for better exploration of these spaces deep discovery a greater understanding of customer impact and experience and better outcomes.That means youll:Lead the charge: build a product vision and strategy for your area ensuring alignment with Monzos goals and an exceptional customer experience.Communicate effectively: you get people inspired by the product vision and you share the right context with the right people at the right time.Collaborate seamlessly: partner with engineering design data research marketing and other teams across Monzo to create a strategy and deliver.Deliver impact: define deliver and measure the impact of the customer-focused experiences you create.You should apply if:You are an experienced product manager and have led high-performing teams to ship world-class products at a fast growing company.You have experience working in platform product teams and driving value in deeply technical or highly regulated environments.You have a track record of leading consumer efforts that drive significant value for customers and the business.Youre deeply data-driven and commercial and have a track record of collaborating with machine learning experts or data scientists to define key metrics run experiments and deliver business impact.You can systematically break down and solve complex problems.You have good judgement and have a track record of making good decisions in complex situations where theres often no right answer.You have the urge and resilience to challenge the status quo and make things better and are full of creative ideas for how to do so.You can work effectively with a diverse range of people and working styles - spanning engineering design data user research marketing legal and compliance - to get stuff done.Youre a great storyteller who is able to motivate energise and inspire people towards a common goal.You can clearly articulate how your work dovetails with the work in other squads and derive the highest value from these interactions.Youre passionate about building value for customers and not just achieving business results and are excited about our mission at Monzo.Youre intellectually honest about your works performance continually striving for improvement.Youre a fast learner humble and curious and enjoy learning every day and sharing your knowledge and experience.The interview process:Our interview process involves 4 main stages:Recruiter CallInitial Call with Hiring ManagerFinal Loop consisting of x3 hour long interviews that include a Project Walkthrough Case Study and Leadership interview.A final stage with a VP or CPO within the Product teamWhats in it for you: plus stock options & benefits We can help you relocate to the UK We can sponsor visas.This role can be based in our London office but were open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc - at least monthly - meetings in London).
