What you will be doing You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health] conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.   It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better. The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.  Where you will be working: Location: Llantilio Pertholey, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, NP7 6NY You will be work at Ty Gwyn Hall, a rehabilitation and treatment service for individuals who have been diagnosed with a range of mental health conditions. The Hospital is located in Abergavenny, South Wales and is within easy reach of the M4, M5 and national rail networks. The service support referrals from across the country and our experienced multi-disciplinary team has an excellent record in delivering positive outcomes to service users with a wide range of mental health diagnosis.
