You will be working in our Data Engineering department to support every part of the business in their journeys to streamline and automate the data they have. You will lead the way in improving processes and finding an easier way to do things.

Power BI - Our business utilises Power BI better than 99% of the business in Ireland, and we know we want to do much more with it. This role will involve in-depth training on Power BI, so we are looking for someone with a hunger to learn and the ability to pick up information quickly.

Report building & presenting complex data in a user friendly interface.

Maintaining, upgrading, and fixing issues on all current reports.

Location: Newry, Northern Ireland - Onsite

Qualification:

  • A strong numerical talent is key - nothing too advanced, but using intermediate mathematics is a big part of the job.
  • Good experience with formula writing in Excel/Google sheets.
  • A strategic level thought process, who thinks about the business as a whole and how each decision will impact each person in the various different departments.
  • The ability to communicate at all levels. You are able to relate and get the best out of people, no matter if they work in the warehouse or they are part of the SMT.
  • You are deadline driven and competitive. Tangible results are not always easy to calculate when it comes to projects that nobody has done before, but you are deeply passionate about how the company progresses. Like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart said “I know it, when I see it”.
  • A degree in a related field is not necessary, but any additional IT or coding skills you have won’t hurt

From our side:

  • 4 day working week, 6 months per year Have every Friday off between April and September without using any Annual Leave
  • Highly competitive salary.
  • Electric Car onsite charging.
  • Enhanced Maternity Pay.
  • Perfect for someone who thrives in a company championing work/life balance.

Summary

This role requires a proactive and driven individual who wants to continuously develop and learn daily. You will require a strong numerical skillset and good knowledge of microsoft excel formula creation. The skills you will be learning will be primarily PowerBI development and process automation.
