This role is ideal for a proactive Supply Chain or Procurement professional looking to make an immediate impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a: Supply Chain Manager Procurement Manager Commercial or Contracts Manager Senior Buyer or Category Manager within social housing, local authority, or property maintenance sectorsAs a Supply Chain Manager, you will be: Overseeing budget planning, costings and financial reports to see potential savings for the housing and maintenance teams Tracking and managing budgets versus actual spend, ensuring contract compliance and monthly review of invoices Supporting material and contractor costs to ensure spend is kept within budget Leading on material procurement with agreed tendering policies, authorised within financial regulations Administering contracts with external suppliers Developing and delivering procurement strategies, and review and maintain a catalogue management system for all suppliers Working with the operational teams to assist in the management of van stockI'd love to speak to anyone who has: Proven commercial experience within housing or building maintenance Experience managing supply chain, and a track record delivering value for money savings and service improvements Contract management experience Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Understanding of public sector procedure and procurement frameworksQualifications: Ideally MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent Strong background in overseeing commercial operations across social housing or maintenance services.
