Trade Sales Executive

Trulawn has been a leading brand in the artificial grass sector for 15 years. We supply artificial grass to landscapers and artificial grass installation companies.
Our Head office is in Eversley, Hampshire. We have a friendly & supportive culture.
The Role
Ø We are looking for a Business Development Manager/ Sales Executive in our trade sales department to win new business from new customers and re-engage with lapsed trade accounts.
Ø The successful candidate will build a client base so initially it will involve high levels of outbound telephone calling.
Ø There is a clearly defined career progression plan in place whereby the successful candidate will inherit a larger customer base after 6 months if specific objectives are met. This will result in higher salary & commission.
Ø The role will be based at our offices in Eversley but there will be some requirement to visit customers
Job Description / Main Tasks
Ø Meet and exceed sales growth targets.
Ø Contact prospective trade clients (Landscapers, Artificial grass companies and other potential customers who have NOT traded with Trulawn before)
Ø Use social media to connect with potential customers & develop a prospect list
Ø Visit potential new clients that fit the target profile
Ø Contact non-spending previous Trulawn trade clients (landscapers) to re-introduce the products and services of Trulawn (this will require a high volume of outbound telephone calls)
Ø Account manage the landscapers that become customers by conducting a monthly outbound call and discussing action points with the objective of maximising satisfaction & sales revenue.
Ø Manage pricing & sample requirements for customers.
Ø Log all calls & future tasks on company CRM.
Essential Experience Required
· Tangible evidence of success in a structured sales role.
· Experience of making a high volume of outbound sales calls
· Evidence of winning new business.
