We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our global IT function and work closely with the digital service operations and digital product management teams.


The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business challenges and defining the requirements clearly so that either existing or new technical solutions can be determined. The role reports to the Lead Business Analyst and will be a part of the Applications team while liaising with the broader IT team in order to communicate business needs, define clear requirements and identify technical solutions.


The role is expected to maintain business relationships with key business stakeholders across regions and functions.


Responsibilities


  • Clearly articulate business requirements in the form of Functional specifications and Agile User stories depending on the project need.
  • Own and be accountable for mapping, maintaining and suggesting improvements to the Business Operating Model across the functional areas.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert to project and operations delivery teams and optimise Business Processes across all the functional areas.
  • Must pre-emptively and proactively identify and addresses delivery risks.
  • Understand strategic business needs and plans for growth.
  • Enhance the quality of IT products and services.
  • Analyse the design of technical systems and business models.
  • Utilise IT data for business insights
  • Source and implementing new business technology.
  • Work with architects and SMEs to define technological solutions to business requirements.
  • Produce reports on application development and implementation.
  • Run A/B tests and analyse data to inform business decisions.


Skills and Experience


  • Educated to degree level
  • Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst/SR Business Architect
  • Experience of Agile Methodologies
  • Strong foundation in business analysis tools and techniques
  • Strong experience of Business Process Reengineering or Transformation Programmes
  • Excellent engagement, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate stories and future state vision.
  • English professional proficiency.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in transforming business goals into functional requirements
  • Highly skilled in mapping business processes / Operating Models & RACI
  • Full project life cycle experience - with demonstrable knowledge of different methodologies such as waterfall, agile
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and disrupt thinking, suggesting viable alternatives
  • Extensive knowledge of packaged ERP systems, specifically finance and supply chain and management information solutions (Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX preferred)
  • Creative thinker, able to quickly analyse complex problems and identify appropriate solutions underpinned by logic and analytic approach
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.


This is a hybrid role with expectation of working in our Kidlington office 2-3 days per week.
