Heavy Plant Fitter 📍 Location: Snetterton,Norwich Norfolk and travel around to clients construction sites 💷 Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience) 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm Van supplied so drivers licenc needed About the Role We are seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter to join our team in Snetterton. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of construction plant and machinery — both in our state-of-the-art workshop and on-site as required. Fabrication and diagnostic experience are desirable but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required, and a Cat C1 licence is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities * Repair, maintain, and diagnose a variety of heavy plant machinery and small tools * Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance * Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components * Operate power tools for cutting, shaping, and repairing materials * Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently Skills & Experience * Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability * Proficiency with hand and power tools * Experience in welding and fabrication (desirable) * Understanding of plant diagnostics and electronic systems (advantageous) * Good co...
