Strategic Sourcing & P2P Lead | Renewable Energy Organisation📍 Location: London💷 Salary: up to £58,000 + benefitsLooking for your next challenge in procurement?We're working with a global leader in the energy and services space who is growing their UK procurement team and they’re looking for a Sourcing & P2P Lead to join the team.This is a brilliant opportunity if you enjoy a role that blends strategic sourcing with the fast-paced nature of P2P operations, and want to be part of a team that’s actively driving transformation, digitisation, and sustainability.You’ll join a collaborative, international procurement environment where no two days are the same, expect plenty of variety, ownership, and the chance to make a real impact.💼 What you’ll be doing:Strategic Sourcing (around 40%)Lead sourcing across a variety of indirect categories from IT and consultancy to PPE, MRO, and trainingNegotiate supplier agreements that deliver real valueSupport category strategy, process improvements, and digital tools rollout (e.g. Ariba)Help embed responsible sourcing and ESG compliance in everything you doP2P Operations (around 50%)Manage day-to-day procurement activities raising POs, onboarding suppliers, tracking deliveryHandle procurement requests, ensure compliance, and resolve any supplier or invoice queriesWork closely with the wider business to make sure the P2P process runs smoothlyProcurement Support (around 10%)Keep procurement data, systems and workflows up to dateManage procurement inboxes and respond to internal stakeholder queriesAssist with onboarding and training team members and business users✅ What we’re looking for:Experience:3–5 years in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally with exposure to indirect categoriesSolid hands-on experience across the full P2P lifecycleComfortable using ERP systems (SAP or Ariba experience is a bonus)Familiar with contract types (e.g. consultancy, licensing, term call-offs)Skills:Strong Excel and SharePoint skills; Power BI or Power Automate is a nice plusGood eye for process improvement and data accuracyGreat communicator – someone who’s comfortable working across departments and managing supplier relationshipsOrganised, proactive, and not afraid to roll your sleeves upQualifications:Degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, or financeOpen to (or already working toward) CIPS accreditation🌟 Why this role?You'll be joining a business that’s serious about sustainability and digital innovationIt's a chance to develop both your operational and strategic procurement skillsHybrid working (London HQ + WFH), with a supportive and friendly teamExposure to both UK and European procurement activity – a great step if you're looking to build an international career📩 Ready to take the next step?If this sounds like a good fit for your background, we’d love to have a chat.
