Capital works surveyor required for a a local authority in the Nottinghamshire area for a contract initially for 6 months with a view to this going for a further 6 months after. Purpose of the role: To be responsible for the inspection and standards of delivery of the housing repairs service referring only the most complex and intractable problems, and matters relating to policy to Operations Manager/Repairs and Maintenance Manager. To undertake site measurements in the preparations of valuations, specifications, schedule of rates, form of contract and sub-contract, including any cost variations.
