About the Role: Head of Reconciliation


The Head of Reconciliation will be responsible for leading and optimizing the reconciliation processes across all financial transactions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, managing a team of reconciliation analysts, and compelling strategic initiatives to automate and streamline reconciliation operations.


Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:


  • Oversee the reconciliation of financial transactions across multiple platforms, including digital wallets, payment platform, and other financial systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation operations management and address any discrepancies in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement robust reconciliation policies, procedures, and controls to support business growth and scalability.
  • Drive initiatives to automate reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and data teams to design and implement scalable reconciliation systems and workflows.
  • Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy and reduce operational risks.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on reconciliation status, performance metrics, and risk factors to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop a strategic vision for the reconciliation function, aligning with the organization’s overall business strategy and growth objectives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on reconciliation performance, trends, and strategic initiatives to the management team.


Qualifications We’re Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or similar graduation.
  • Over 5-7 years’ experience in financial reconciliations
  • At least 2-3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the context of payment solutions or financial data.
  • In-dept knowledge of digital payment systems.
  • Experienced as a user of Financial ERP Systems.
  • Proven track record of managing reconciliation processes and driving process improvements in a high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in reconciliation and financial management software, as well as data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Experience with automation tools and technologies.
  • Building and facilitating automation solutions for efficiency related to reconciliations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
