Youll also be keen to grow and to seek out new challenges and knowledge whilst in turn gaining more responsibility and seniority.Does this sound like you In which case wed love you to apply for this role.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesSupport the manufacturing cell with technical/engineering queries to ensure production output targets are achieved.Use of FRACAS tools to monitor test performance of all nominated products in the manufacturing cellRun product health analysis on high priority products understand root cause and drive changes where appropriate. Identify process improvement and cost out opportunities in support of the product through production.Lead root cause corrective actioninvestigations onunits which have failed in production or customer returns with zero flight hours. Diagnosis of failures to component level are required. Ensure any trends are captured and analysed to drive product improvements. Provide feedback for the customer within agreed timescales.Assessment and disposition of non-conformances and approval of them where appropriate.Support the introduction of new products into volume production ensuring that the product and processes are ready.Ensuring compliance with mandatory regulations standards and company processesQualifications/Requirements:Qualified to HNC or above in an electronic discipline or equivalent relevant level of experience and knowledgeExperience in developing and executing process improvementsAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholder requirements at onceExperience in implementing root cause corrective actionDemonstrated ability to work on own initiative to proactively manage projects / tasksDemonstrated fault diagnostic skills to component levelStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to work independentlyDesired BehavioursAnalytical with a keen attention to detailStrong organisational and communication skillsA good team player who is capable of operating in a multi discipline environmentKnowledge of avionic computing and interface systemsUnderstanding of mechanical drawings and software is an advantageAt GE Aviation we understand the importance of Total Reward.
