Position: Qualified SEN Teacher (Supply)

Start Date: October 2024

Location: Various Schools within Hull

About the Role: As a Qualified SEN Teacher on supply, you will be instrumental in providing specialised instruction and support to children with special educational needs across a range of school settings. Your expertise and compassion will help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can flourish. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience and make a significant difference in the lives of children who need your guidance the most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored lessons and interventions to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and understood.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students with diverse learning profiles.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting instruction as necessary.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for each student.
