Are you a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work a days only role?Wk 1 and Wk 2: Mon-Wed 6.00am-6.00pmWk 3 and Wk 4: Thur to Sat 6.00am-6.00pm(Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered as training can be provided)If so, then please read onThe basics:Job Title: Maintenance EngineerShift: DaysLocation: Kettering Industry: ManufacturingPay: £40000 + call out paid at £40 per call out and at 1.5 overtime rates (call out on a rota basis and shared) earning of £44000 and upwards achievable Overview:Working in a first-class, modern, purpose-built manufacturing facility; we now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the team.Both mechanical and electrical engineers consideredKey responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:* To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.* Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns* PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:- Time served apprentice trained or above- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar- An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding. Most of the faults are predominantly mechanical, however electrical skills can utilised if you are electrically biased.
