An overview of the role


As a Full Stack Developer you will be responsible for creating the visions of clients and driving better business outcomes. You would be tasked with building cutting-edge digital solutions for clients, combining a clear understanding of business value and a consultative approach to make the difference. You will be able to work on a vast variety of projects and get exposure to a variety of technology such as (but not exhaustively) NodeJS, Java, Kotlin, Spring boot framework, RESTful microservices, NoSQL databases.

Why You?


To be a part of the team, you will have a mixture of the following experience:

Essential

• Extensive experience of building microservices with either Java (Spring Boot) or NodeJS (JavaScript/Typescript)

• Experience using JavaScript/Typescript to build fronted web applications using React, HTML and CSS

• Experience working in an agile team environment

• Experience using version control software - Git

• Experience using online version control tools - GitHub, GitLab etc


Desirable

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS Lambda, SQS and SNS (or similar in Azure)

• Familiarity with using Docker to aid develop and testing as well as deployment a plus.

• Experience building and integrating with NoSQL database (familiarity with MongoDB is preferred)

• Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins)

• Familiarity with web standards, accessibility, and development best practice


Bonus Skills

• Building microservices in C#

• Experience building solutions that integrate with LLMs

• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Big Data

• Using the GOV.UK Design System
