I am currently recruiting for a Trading Reporting Finance analyst to join a Global Retail company in West London. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their next step in commercial finance and progress their career in Commercial Finance. The purpose of this role is to provide insightful reporting to deliver overall P&L in line with agreed targets across 3 brands and UK and International Channels. Provision of Commercial insight providing constant and regular updates into the commercial direction of the Brands and UK and


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of reporting to assist in the provision of insightful analysis across all channel’s Sales & Margin.
  • Produce appraisals across the Brands and Digital Channels for key promotional and marketing spend activities.
  • Communicate effectively with non-finance business contacts to ensure the Finance team has a strong understanding of channel activities and financial impacts
  • Weekly Reporting, Month End, Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Weekly reporting of Sales & Margin by Brand and Channels
  • Review of month end actuals ensuring Stock, Sales and Margin are accounted for correctly across all UK and International Channels
  • Develop and evolve month end reporting/analysis for Sales, Margin and Stock for all UK and International Channels
  • Support wider Commercial Finance team with cover and support as required
  • Support Treasury with Cashflow inputs on UK and International Franchise Stock and Sales
  • Collaboration in other activities or projects related to areas of focus across the P&L


Person Specification:

  • Part Qualified (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with commercial finance experience.
  • Proactive, resilient, adaptable and “can-do” team player with a drive to make a difference
  • Excellent communication – ability to articulate orally and in writing, complex and detailed information in an easy to understand manner to all levels of the business
  • Attention to detail, highly analytical and comfortable dealing with large datasets/advanced modelling
  • Ability to deliver with a flexible approach when required
  • Strong Excel and System skills
  • Experience in Retail/consumer facing industry environment
