We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team in Newport South Wales.The suitable candidate must be a British National who has held a UK British Passport for the last 5 years as this site will require SC Clearance vetting.The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Securitys clients as specified demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart alert visible and commanding security presence.Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work day and night shifts (weekends Bank Holidays) Pay Rate: 12.71 Average Weekly Hours: 40 hrs pw Contracted Hours: 40 hrs pwShifts are Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00Duties will include: Meet and Greet Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally Manage all systems within the security control base Ensure a vigilance professional presence Produce accurate reports as and when needed Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the clientEssential Requirements: Excellent verbal communication skills pleasant manner approachable clearly spoken Excellent customer care skills Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports Demonstrates good observation skills Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patternsIn order to work for Samsic UK you MUST fulfil the following criteria: Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months Be fluent in spoken and written English Must have a British Passport for SC Reasons Have a five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 5 Year Work History record at your interview)Benefits: Full site training Apprentice scheme available to all Reward and recognition scheme Career development plan Pension scheme Uniform provided SIA Licence paid for Strong Management supportRequired Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills CCTV,SQL,Compliance,Clearance,Facility,Security Requirements,Agile,Security Systems,Access Control,Security Procedures,Information Security,Risk Assessments,Security managements,Physical Security,Site Environment Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
