Electrical Maintenance Technician

My client operates a fast-moving manufacturing facility in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. They are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team working 4 on 4 off, consisting of 2 days/2 nights. The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance to the machinery on site ensuring the site is always fully operational. The successful Electrical Maintenance Technician will benefit from some great incentives including full training, tools, private healthcare, life insurance, an annual bonus, and the opportunity for future progression. Electrical Maintenance Technician Requirements: * Must hold a minimum of NVQ level 3 qualification in Electrical engineering. * 18th Edition. * Previous experience carrying out PLC fault finding. * Previous experience working on cranes would be beneficial. * Proven hands-on experience within a maintenance environment, especially with 3 phase and single-phase systems. * Forklift license would be beneficial. * Self-motivated and enjoy problem solving. * Able to work in a team and on own initiative.
