The hourly rate for this role is 12.98 and up to 14.36 across selected locations within London.Are you passionate about customer care and delivering the best Pharmacy services We are looking for a relief phlebotomist to travel up to 2 hours to different stores across the region and join our healthcare teams in playing a key role to deliver Phlebotomy services to our local communities.About the opportunityAs a Boots Relief Phlebotomist you will be based at our Leeds Trinity Centre store but will regularly travel to our Stockton-on-Tees Retail Park and Manchester Market Street stores to provide support for our healthcare services with more locations due to be added in the future.In these stores you will conduct a variety of different pharmacy services across multiple stores including taking venous blood samples from patients. From managing the appointment diaries greeting your patients and delivering the service you will use your ability to connect with patients to provide exceptional patient centred care.You will spend your time building great relationships with your patients listening to their concerns and managing every consultation with compassion. You will use your knowledge and training to confidently take every opportunity to provide holistic care and solutions which are right for the individual. You will have the opportunity every day to make a real difference to patients and with a wide range of responsibilities and services available.Working across different stores you will have the opportunity to build relationships with multiple stores teams making a difference to them all - no two days will be the same.Key responsibilities:Day to day management of the appointment diary to ensure that clinics are set up as required to deliver the necessary services safely and professionally. Ensure every individual arriving for a pre-booked appointment is greeted booked into the system and all pre-consultation paperwork is completedTake venous blood samples from individuals according to UK guidelines ensuring the integrity of the blood samples are maintained at all times including appropriate storageEnsure samples are prepared for collection and that missed collections are escalated ensuring samples reach the laboratory within the set timeframeCommunicate with the store leadership team Pharmacist and pharmacy team to ensure safe and appropriate provision of the serviceOrder and maintain adequate stock of consumables and materials required to deliver the serviceEnsure the consultation space always meets the required consultation room standardsWhat youll need to haveMinimum 12-months phlebotomist experienceWilling to work weekdays and weekendsA full valid UK driving licence and access to a car as you will be travelling to different stores across the regionAn understanding that you may be requested to change where you are due to work at short noticePunctuality to arrive at each store with plenty of time to set yourself up for success for the day aheadHealthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalentEmpathetic approachable and able to build relationships quickly with colleagues and customers alikeA passion for customer care and working in healthcareIt would be great if you also haveExperience working within community pharmacyOur benefitsTravel Expenses covered by BootsGenerous staff discountDiscretionary Christmas Gift PaymentEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a childFlexible benefits schemeAccess to free 24/7 counselling and support through TELUS Health our Employee Assistance have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that offer flexibility to suit you - find out more at Please note any salary estimates given on third-party sites are not provided or endorsed by Boots and may not be accurate.Why BootsWere always looking for people who care; people who go the extra mile to change things for the better.
