Financial Reporting ManagerLuton, BedfordshireExclusive Search – Global Listed OrganisationType: Day rate contract (Inside IR35)Duration: Initially 3-month, with scope of extension/permanentWe're excited to be partnering exclusively with a highly respected global business that is strengthening its UK finance function, and we’re looking for a technically strong Financial Reporting Manager to step into a high-impact role covering statutory reporting, month-end leadership, taxation, along systems and process improvement.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) who enjoys depth, accuracy, and continuous improvement - while also getting involved in a major ERP implementation that will shape the future of the finance function.The RoleAs Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of:Leading month-end close and delivering accurate management accountsAssist with the annual statutory accounts preparation and tax returns across UK entitiesComplex reconciliations, IFRS support, and technical analysisOverseeing AP, AR, cash management, and financial operationsDriving system and process improvements in partnership with ITSupporting audits, external reporting, and Group submissionsThis role offers both technical challenge and the chance to influence how finance operates as the business grows and evolves.The Ideal candidate will beACA/ACCA qualified (essential)2-5+ years’ experience in a similar technical roleHands-on exposure with month-end close (essential)Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS desirable)Experience with large ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, D365Exposure dealing with AuditorsHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive mindsetPerfect for someone who enjoys ownership, improving processes, and being the go-to technical expert.Why this opportunity?Work with an international listed business undergoing positive transformationKey role with visibility across Group, auditors, and senior stakeholdersA supportive Financial Controller and a chance to influence best practiceIf you're a technically strong qualified accountant looking for a role with impact, autonomy, and progression, we’d love to speak with you.
