Autism Support Worker - Full Time - Knowsley
Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder?
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Worker to provide support to our client Primary & SEND Schools and their students. The role will be working with young people between 3-12 years old on a full time basis.
We work with a number of schools in Knowsley so can support you in finding a role that is convenient for you.
The role will be Monday to Friday and will require you to work between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm.
Please note - we are only accepting full time applicants for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a 1:1 and small group basis with children who have additional needs.
- Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated sessions.
- Supporting children to thrive both academically and socially.
- Create a fun, safe and supportive environment for children to thrive.
- Assist with personal care.
Requirements:
- Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Be available Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm.
- Be comfortable at providing personal care.
- Have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
