Azure Cloud Engineer Permanent | Home-Based (UK) Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits Skills: Azure, Windows Server, Terraform (desirable), SC Clearance We're looking to recruit an SC ClearedAzure Cloud Engineerto for a leading IT Consultancy. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, learn from senior colleagues, and take on real responsibility in a supportive environment. This is a fully remote role with minimal travel. Due to the nature of projects valid SC Clearance is essential. What You'll Be Doing: Supporting cloud and infrastructure services in Azure and on-prem environments Assisting in resolving incidents and service requests escalated from the Service Desk Collaborating with engineers and project teams to maintain secure and resilient systems Monitoring systems to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with SLAs Updating and maintaining support documentation and technical runbooks Supporting the transition of new systems from project teams into BAU Occasionally assisting with hands-on physical infrastructure tasks (e.g., hardware swaps) Desired Skills & Experience: Exposure toMicrosoft Azure , particularly IaaS and Entra ID (Azure AD) Hands-on experience withWindows Server environments(2012 R2 - 2022) Good understanding ofActive Directoryand core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPO) Familiarity withOffice 365administration and setup Basic knowledge ofvirtualisation platforms(VMware, Hyper-V) Interest in or some experience withTerraformor Infrastructure-as-Code Some scripting experience (e.g.,PowerShell ) is a plus Valid SC Clearance This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your technical skills, gain exposure to enterprise-scale cloud systems, and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced and secure environment.TPBN1_UKTJ
