You'll play a key role in managing strategic suppliers, driving cost improvements, and ensuring the seamless supply of critical materials. What You'll Be Doing Supplier Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key aluminium suppliers worldwide, ensuring the highest standards of quality, cost, and delivery. Project Leadership:Lead and deliver projects within a Multi-Functional Team (MFT) environment, managing timelines, budgets, and reporting to senior stakeholders. Contract Negotiation:Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from tendering and selection to negotiation, validation, and ongoing review. Strategic Sourcing:Support the deployment of commodity strategies, leveraging market intelligence and contributing to company-wide cost improvement initiatives. Risk Management:Identify and mitigate supplier risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance with Airbus policies. Process Optimisation:Manage the end-to-end Aluminium ConBid process, continuously monitoring demand, optimising allocation, and driving savings. Continuous Improvement:Participate in regular supplier reviews and support development initiatives to enhance performance and achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets. What We're Looking For Experience in buying, supply chain, or contract management within large-scale manufacturing (ideally metals, aviation, or automation). Technical understanding of materials, especially aluminium and metal parts. Proven ability to interpret specifications and work with international suppliers. Comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments. SAP experience is highly desirable. A collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement. Why Join Us?
