This approach is why we can offer you an exceptional wellness package, as we believe that a happy you is good for you and good for usSo, if you are ready for your next step and eager to advance your career, we are waiting to hear from youThe Role:As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will complete deliveries and collections of building related products across our dedicated Howden’s and Yusen depots as part of our trunking operation.There is no manual handling, although you will be expected to ensure the products are secure. This is not a multi-drop role - you will only complete on average between 1 - 3 deliveries and collections per shift.Your start times will approximately be between 5pm and 7pm, but some flexibility may be required to fit in with the needs of the business.About YouTo be considered as an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:- A full, valid driving LGV Class 1 licence- Commercial LGV Class 1 driving experience- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)- A valid Driver CPC qualification- A valid Digital Tachograph card- Excellent communication skills- To be customer-focused- To be able to work within a team environment- Excellent problem-solving skills- A flexible approach to your work and the ability to start at different times if necessaryOther organisations may call this role Delivery Driver, Truck Driver, Lorry Driver, Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, Large Goods Vehicle Driver, Goods Vehicle Driver, or Collections and Delivery Driver.We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted.Yusen Logistics is an equal opportunities employer, who encourages applications from all suitably qualified and eligible applicants regardless of their personal circumstances.
