We are currently looking to appoint a new Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer covering the North. Please see our generous remuneration packages below Our Mechanical Sprinkler Service EngineersCarry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems Fire Hydrants Fire Hose Reels Dry/Wet Risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on small and large project works across the UK ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements. Undertake Mechanical Servicing and Remedial works of Fire Hydrants Fire Hose Reels Fire Risers and Sprinkler Systems Forward planning in regard to the parts requirements on installation works placing parts orders liaising with site management and coordinating with other trades. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of the wider Sprinkler Department on installation and service works. Provide information to quote to upgrade or modify these systems in relation to manufacturers and industry guidelines and then discussing these requirements with new and existing customers. The company will provide initial training for these elements of your role and continued ongoing support. You will receive field support and training for all disciplines you undertake. For this specific opportunity we are looking for candidates who offer: At least 2-3 years experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position/Mechanical pipe intallation Extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential sprinkler systems be able to carry system change overs and be competent with fire alarms and all kinds of commercial sprinkler systems. A working practice of BS9251 Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
