Our client is a market leader in Ground Service Equipment (GSE) repair and maintenance, where you'll have the chance to work with a range of specialised airport equipment.Position Details:Working Hours: 40 hours per weekShift Pattern: Mon to Fri - 9am to 5:30pmOvertime Rate: 1.5xSalary:£44,294Key Responsibilities:In this varied role, you will be essential to our team's success, using your expertise to diagnose and repair a variety of airport equipment, including:Towing tractorsAircraft tugsBaggage elevatorsOther specialized airport vehiclesDuties include:Conducting diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on GSEImplementing mechanical solutions to keep all equipment operationalCollaborating with the team to maintain high standards in maintenanceWhat We're Looking For:We need a self-motivated, skilled technician with:Strong problem-solving abilitiesA clear understanding of Health & Safety practicesAbility to work independently as well as in a team settingOpenness to new ideas and feedbackQualifications and Experience:Minimum Level 3 City & Guilds certification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent (required)Experience with commercial or plant vehicles (essential)Welding skills (desirable) Additional Requirements:Demonstrated Right to Work in the UKAbility to obtain an airside pass (requires criminal record check and 5-year history verification)Valid UK driving licenseCertification for all relevant qualifications
