Description: Responsibilities
- Work from assembly instructions, drawings, and wiring schematics
- Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Perform quality testing throughout the assembly process.
- Maintain records to track equipment performance.
- Solder electrical components.
- Adhere to ESD protocols.
- Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
* Track inventory levels and ordering parts as needed
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role.
- Good eye-hand coordination to construct parts and pieces into a final product.
- The ability to use various hand tools to produce a final product.
- Ability to follow instructions and diagrams as delivered for each product.
- Excellent written and communication skills (English).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High school diploma and related training preferred.
Hours of work can either be full time 07:30 - 16:00 or part time - flexible around these times
