The role of Image Analysis Senior Scientist: You will support Project Managers in the management and execution of image analysis studies to ensure efficient generation and delivery of high-quality data packages to Clients. This is achieved through the utilisation of various image analysis software packages to annotate digitalised tissue sections, develop customised analysis algorithms, process batch analysis, render data and generate study reports. Working within a friendly, efficient, and collaborative team, you will apply your biology expertise and image analysis experience with a focus on precision and accuracy. The role involves: Acting as a Study Manager, leading image analysis projects using state-of-the-art systems. Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned Clients, fostering strong relationships with Clients and service provider partners, to ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery through effective communication via email, teleconferences, online platforms, or in-person meetings. Overseeing assigned analysts, and ensuring the production of high-quality data and reports. Prioritising efficiency in study execution within agreed timelines, upholding rigorous standards, and driving successful outcomes. Key skills & experience: Relevant degree in life sciences or data science. Experience in pathology / histology required. Experience within Contract Research Organisation or Pharmaceutical Industry preferable. Experience with image analysis software would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Location: The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining home and office-based work. Employees are required to work at least two daysperweek in the office, (three daysperweek for the first six months of employment). The office is located at BioCity Glasgow, which provides free on-site parking. Salary & Benefits: £30,000 - £38,000, dependent on experience. A company bonus scheme. 32 days holidayperannum.
