  • Evaluate and recommend payment gateways, processors, and third-party providers based on business needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the payments ecosystem (e.g., PSD2, PCI DSS, open banking).

Project Coordination

  • Define and prioritize user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for payment system features.
  • Support project managers in creating timelines, milestones, and deliverables for payment-focused initiatives.

Process Improvement

  • Design and propose improvements to streamline payment operations, enhance user experiences, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation of process changes and monitor their impact.

Testing and Validation

  • Work with QA teams to define test plans, scenarios, and scripts for payment functionality.
  • Validate that payment systems and processes meet business requirements, technical specifications, and compliance standards.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of payment solutions post-implementation, ensuring continuous improvement.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Create detailed documentation, including process flows, system integrations, and data mappings for payment systems.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into payment performance, trends, and KPIs.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
