Good Afternoon,I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experienceWe are looking for a Homeless Prevention Coordinator this role will be Hybrid SW1E6QPThe right candidate will: * Provide support within the Housing Solutions Service to assist families and individuals in moving from nightly booked TA to suitable, long-term accommodation. * Conduct client visits to assess current situations and collaboratively develop relocation plans. * Demonstrate exceptional customer care through compassionate and empathetic interactions with clients. * Offer advice and assistance on homelessness prevention and facilitate access to professional and medical support as needed * Housing Act 1996, Part VII: Housing duty investigations, decisions, and duties owed to applicants. * TA suitability and S202 reviews.We require the following: * Ideally, we are looking for someone with management/senior experience. * Demonstrated experience managing a team and/or function including the management of professional staff. * Proficient in homelessness law and provision, with experience in similar roles.To discuss this opportunity further please send over an up-to-date CV and give me a call on (phone number removed)If you know someone who would be a good fit for the role, please send over their contact details and get in touch, as we do offer a generous referral fee.IF THIS ROLE IS NOT APPLICABLE TO YOU, BUT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ROLE, PLEASE SEND OVER YOUR CV AND I WILL CHECK WHAT ROLES I HAVE AVAILABLE.Look forward to speaking with you soon
