This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within an ambitious sector-leading organisation where your contribution truly matters.As a Night Support Worker you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety wellbeing and comfort of our residents overnight. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting vulnerable people drawing on experience in housing youth work security or building safety. Acting as the first point of contact during night hours providing a warm professional and high-quality service to residents. Ensuring the safety and security of the building including responding to incidents monitoring CCTV and addressing resident needs. Delivering excellent customer service answering phone calls and responding to resident queries. Providing emotional support to residents who request help or may be experiencing distress. Diffusing tensions or incidents between residents and escalating concerns to the on-call manager when required.About One YMCA: This is an exciting time to join One YMCA as we implement our ambitious plans to grow our housing services and increase our impact across all accommodation sites.In 2020/21 we provided more than 185000 nights of safe and secure accommodation to those most in need.
