1:1 Teaching Assistant - Macclesfield (Autism Support - 4 Days per Week, Friday off) Are you calm, understanding, and passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential? Academics is currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with autism at a warm and welcoming primary school in the Macclesfield area. The pupil experiences challenges with communication and is working below age-related expectations within a specialist provision room, so we are looking for someone patient, consistent, and confident. This role involves providing structured, nurturing support four days per week, helping the pupil to feel safe, understood, and ready to engage in learning. The school is a friendly and inclusive setting, where staff work closely as a team and genuinely care about each child. You'll be joining a supportive environment where your role will make a meaningful difference every day.
