Job Description:
We are currently looking for a talented SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join one of our esteemed clients. This role involves working with a high-performing SAP implementation team, including technical consultants, functional consultants, solution architects, QA engineers, and project managers. As an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting SAP S/4 HANA upgrades and ensuring the success of the company's projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements for SAP FICO.
  2. Assess the impact of upgrading to SAP S/4 HANA on existing business processes and systems.
  3. Design solutions that align with the organization's processes and SAP S/4 HANA capabilities.
  4. Configure the SAP system according to the designed solutions, ensuring compatibility with S/4 HANA’s enhanced features.
  5. Evaluate the need for customizations in the S/4 HANA environment and develop them as necessary.
  6. Ensure seamless integration of the upgraded module with other SAP modules and external systems.
  7. Plan and execute data migration from the current SAP system to S/4 HANA, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
  8. Manage data cleansing, mapping, and validation activities.
  9. Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance tests) to ensure the upgrade meets business requirements and functions correctly.
  10. Identify, document, and resolve any issues or defects that arise during testing.
  11. Develop and deliver training to end-users on new functionalities and changes brought by the S/4 HANA upgrade.
  12. Provide ongoing support post-implementation, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  13. Assist in change management activities to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.
  14. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure understanding and adoption of the new system.
  15. Prepare detailed documentation of the solution design, configuration, custom development, and operational procedures related to the upgrade.
  16. Maintain records of issues and resolutions for future reference and continuous learning.
  17. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of the upgrade project.
  18. Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders.
  19. Ensure the solution adheres to SAP best practices and compliance standards.
  20. Stay updated with SAP S/4 HANA developments and industry trends to recommend ongoing improvements.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as an SAP FICO functional consultant, ideally with a focus on implementing and upgrading to SAP S/4 HANA.
  2. Experience in end-to-end SAP project lifecycle, from planning and implementation to support.
  3. Prior experience in data migration projects, especially related to SAP upgrades.
  4. SAP certification in relevant modules (such as FI, CO) is highly desirable.
  5. In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO and their integration with other modules.
  6. Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA’s capabilities and differences from SAP ECC.
  7. Strong skills in SAP configuration, customization, and problem-solving.
  8. Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
  9. Competency in designing and optimizing SAP workflows to align with business processes.
  10. Experience in developing and conducting SAP training for end-users.
  11. Ability to provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and addressing user queries.
  12. Experience in change management, ensuring smooth transition during SAP upgrades.
  13. Ability to manage user expectations and mitigate resistance to change.
  14. Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance standards in SAP implementations.
  15. Commitment to staying updated with the latest SAP developments and trends.
  16. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  17. Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  18. Good communication skills (written and verbal) and proven team player.
  19. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university.
  20. Ability to work within the GMT+8 time zone.
