Authorised PersonData Centre - London We are currently partnering with a multinational Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation services provider with offices across Europe. Due to continued growth in their industrial arm, they are now seeking an experiencedAuthorised Personto join their team inLondonon a Data Centre project. Responsibilities Permit-to-Work Control:Manage and issue permits for HV/LV electrical systems, mechanical systems, or specialist services (depending on discipline), ensuring safe and compliant execution of high-risk works. Isolation & Energisation Management:Oversee isolations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and energisation activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and data centre operational standards. Risk Assessment & Safety Planning:Review method statements, RAMS, switching schedules, and technical documentation to ensure safe system of work for all authorised activities on site. Coordination with Site Teams:Work closely with project managers, commissioning teams, and subcontractors to schedule authorised works, prevent conflicts, and maintain safe system integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Compliance Monitoring & Documentation:Maintain accurate records of permits, switching logs, isolations, authorisations, and safety documentation; support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and client procedures. Requirements Must have valid HV/LV Certifications Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background Must have 8+ years experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres) Benefits £500 - £550 per dayTPBN1_UKTJ
