You will be responsible for all activities related to turbine design and interface with turbine OEM in offshore wind.How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:Building and verification of aeroelastic model of the turbineManage the turbine controller tuning and developmentPerform all required checks of the turbine and controllerSupport the turbine tower designMonitor, support and verify the ILALaise with external contractors related to the turbine model and controllerParticipate in the technical meetings with clientsProvide a support to the Offshore Wind business unit activities, in terms of advanced and non-conventional structural analyses and numerical simulationsWrite comprehensive and top quality industry standard technical reportsWhat are we looking for?Education: Chartered Engineer (Engineering Degree - Aeronautical degree preferred)Experience: 10-15 years in design for offshore wind covering both floating and fixed wind substructuresTechnical skills: codes and standards, including DNV and IEC, turbine design, WTGIT skills: engineering software (OrcaFlex, Bladed, Fast) and MS365What We Can Offer To YouContractor role, full time, outside IR35Hybrid working model: Smart Working options and flexible hours to help you achieve a better work-life balance.Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development and opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and cooperation with all our collaborators to achieve common goals.Location: Kingston upon ThamesStart date: As soon as possiblePlease note: All applicants must reside in the UK and possess full, permanent UK right-to-work status, as Saipem is unable to offer sponsorships.Additional InformationWe embrace diversity At Saipem, we believe that innovation thrives through diversity.
