Fully bootstrapped, we are driven by the desire to continue growing and empowering our team as we expand our global footprint.Role Summary: Account Director (AD)The Account Director (AD) is a hybrid strategic and operational leader, responsible for managing a portfolio of 5 - 6 accounts while translating the overall strategy into actionable, client-specific plans. Reporting to the Senior Account Director (SAD), the AD focuses on day-to-day operations of their accounts, leads 80% of client calls, and ensures that campaigns meet objectives, KPIs, and client expectations. The AD also contributes to revenue growth through upselling and cross-promotional opportunities, while mentoring junior team members and fostering a positive team environment.The role emphasizes tactical execution, client satisfaction, and employee development while aligning with the broader strategies set by the SAD. The AD is instrumental in delivering high-quality service to clients, managing media relations, and identifying opportunities for business growth.Key Responsibilities:Client & Campaign ManagementAct as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.Collaborate with the SAD to design strategies and ensure execution meets client expectations.Manage the execution of PR and communications strategies for 5 - 6 client accounts.Serve as the operational point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to ensure campaigns meet objectives and deadlines.Ensure client KPIs, such as media placements and partnerships, are met or exceeded.Manage all aspects of the client relationship, from onboarding to renewals.Handle client finance-related communications, such as resolving issues with delayed payments.Media & KOL RelationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with journalists, tier 1 media outlets, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).Establish at least one KOL partnership per quarter.Facilitate one journalist meeting every month to enhance media relations.Business Development & Revenue GrowthDrive new revenue generation through upselling services to existing clients, achieving 2.5x the annual salary in additional revenue.Collaborate with the SAD on RFPs, business pitches, and cross-promotional opportunities with sister companies.Support events and sponsorships, identifying opportunities to enhance visibility and revenue streams.Team Leadership & DevelopmentMentor and train subordinates, including Account Managers, and Account Executives, ensuring career development pathways are clear. Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins to monitor performance, workload, and support employee development.Foster a positive work environment, ensuring high team morale and retention.Lead account team meetings to align execution with client objectives.Assist in onboarding and training new team members.Leadership & Personal DevelopmentContinuously develop leadership skills through courses, events, and self-study.Stay updated on industry trends, including web3 and emerging areas like AI.Assist with profiling C-level executives and the company by identifying and securing media opportunities.Host workshops or training sessions to share knowledge and best practices.Administrative & ReportingEnsure timely delivery of client reports, including weekly updates, monthly reviews, and end-of-term reports.Collaborate with the SAD to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.Maintain organized documentation and adherence to internal processes.Requirements6+ years experience in PR or communications, ideally with strong exposure to Web3, fintech, or emerging technology sectors.Currently based in the UK and open to relocating to Dubai.Proven experience managing multiple client accounts at a senior level.Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.Experience building and maintaining relationships with tier-1 media outlets.Confident communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.Comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-paced agency environments.Why Join Luna PR?Join one of the leading Web3 PR agencies globally.Play a key leadership role in expanding our Dubai and MENA presence.Work with global clients at the forefront of innovation.Be part of an ambitious, dynamic, and culture-driven team.Opportunity to accelerate your career in a rapidly growing market.Birthdays are paid days offRelocation support offered.
