Join Consultant Connect as a Senior Full Stack Developer (Front-End Focus)

Consultant Connect is on the lookout for a talented Senior Full Stack Developer with a front-end focus to join our Product Development Team. We're not your typical tech team - we go beyond just writing code from specs. We build solutions that make a real difference. As part of our mission to improve NHS services, you'll help enhance our platform, enabling GPs and Consultants to access specialist advice instantly, saving patients unnecessary hospital visits, saving doctors time, and reducing NHS costs.

Location: UK or EU-based candidates who can meet in person in Oxford about one day per quarter.

Company Description:

Consultant Connect provides IG secure communication technology solutions that improve patient care and treatment in the NHS. The solutions are utilised in Elective Care, Acute Care, Urgent Care, and Mental Health settings.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Building solutions to problems (especially solutions with a heavy front-end focus)
  2. Design of the solution (in conjunction with Product Managers or other colleagues)

Specific characteristics for this role:

  • Taken multiple features from idea to release to growth
  • Having spent meaningful time as part of different teams (likely means at least 6 months)
  • Substantial experience doing front-end development, including responsive design
  • Substantial experience also working on backend (e.g. building APIs, database)
  • Substantial experience with CI/CD or deployments in general
  • Ideally have design sense for UX/UI.
  • Ideally some experience in an agency (for consumer facing apps) and/or early-stage consumer facing startup
  • Ideally experience with mobile app development
