DescriptionContract & Disposal ManagerSalary: 63393- 73167per annumGrade: HPermanent Contract37 Hours per WeekWe are seeking an experienced Contract & Disposal Manager to provide support across a range of services with a particular focus on Waste Disposal Environmental Enforcement and Highways Infrastructure.You will be confidentin leading on the procurement management and monitoring of external contractors and service providers that have significant service delivery implications while ensuring continuous improvement efficiency and maximising value for money.Main Responsibilities include:To manage and monitor the quality and financial performance of all Waste and other Environment and Highways services principal external contracts. This includes ensuring that all contracts are compliant with legislative and other regulatory prescriptions including internal Constitutional procurement and financial regulation procedures and policies.To oversee and manage the development of new initiatives within existing contracts that contribute to the Council and Directorates Strategic Objectives.To ensure that contract processes are performance led subject to ongoing evaluation and meet the needs of the Directorate.
