Position: Deputy Headteacher (FTC Maternity Cover)Location:Great Dunmow, EssexHours: 40 hours per week, term timeSalary Details: Up to £48,000 per annumAs Deputy Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school, ensuring that our vision, values, and ethos are embedded in every aspect of school life. The school:Cambian Great Dunmow School is an small independent specialist provision with 14 students or rollthat provides relevant, positive and high-quality education experiences and support for your child. We cater for up to 20 children and young people aged 11 to 19 with ongoing social, emotional and mental health difficulties with associated complex needs. Purpose of the role:The role will include management of the school on a day-to-day basis and a teaching duty. A full understanding of the school behaviour policy is required, along with the ability to implement and model high standards of behaviour management. In addition to this, contribution to the self-evaluation process and strategic development of the school will be an integral part of the role ensuring professional standards are maintained at all times. This Role Requires a Leader With:A strong track record of outstanding teaching and leadership. The ability to inspire and empower pupils and staff alike. A commitment to developing a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement. The skills to support the Headteacher in delivering strategic goals and raising standards across the school. As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school, ensuring that our vision, values, and ethos are embedded in every aspect of school life.A successful candidate should have:Suitable education qualifications such as QTS, a teaching degree or degree and PGCE.
