If so, this is the role for you.CILEX is recruiting Independent Assessors to conduct End-Point Assessment for the Level 3 Paralegal End-Point AssessmentThe EPA comprises two assessment methods:▪ Professional Discussion underpinned by Portfolio▪ Project Report and Presentation with Q&ACILEX welcomes applications for one or both roles.You will be responsible for conducting end-point assessment for Paralegal apprentices, ensuring that apprentices receive a high-quality assessment experience and accurate, fair and timely results.Why work with us?This is a flexible role, working from home, that you can fit around your commitments. We are looking for people who want to be part of our diverse and imaginative team.The RolesIndependent Assessor: Professional Discussion underpinned by Portfolio▪ Review apprentices’ portfolios and produce questions for the Professional Discussion in accordance with CILEX requirements and criteria▪ Conduct Professional Discussions in accordance with CILEX requirementsIndependent Assessor: Report and Presentation with Q&A▪ Mark apprentices’ reports and presentations and produce questions for the Q&A in accordance with CILEX requirements and criteria▪ Conduct Presentations with Q&A in accordance with CILEX requirementsBoth roles▪ Grade assessments making a judgement on the competency of the apprentice in accordance with the CILEX grading criteria and requirements▪ Produce constructive feedback for apprentices in accordance with CILEX requirements▪ Attend and contribute to standardisation and assessor training activitiesWhat we are looking for▪ Recent relevant experience of the Paralegal occupation or legal sector to at least occupational level 3 gained in the last 3 years or significant experience of the occupation or sector▪ A legal qualification at Level 4 or above▪ Experience of assessing competenceFees: competitive – available on applicationContract: Contract for Services (freelance), issued annuallyLocation: RemoteAvailability: Professional Discussions and Presentations with Q&A take place during standard working hours in accordance with the EPA delivery schedule.Who We AreThe Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) is the professional association and governing body for over 21,000 Chartered Legal Executive Lawyers, other legal practitioners 3and paralegals.
