This is your chance to shape the employment law offering of a respected practice whilst enjoying genuine flexibility structured progression and a workplace where staff are proud to work.About the RoleYoull develop a mixed caseload of transactional non-contentious and contentious employment work working alongside colleagues across multiple office locations. Your responsibilities will include:Strategic & Advisory WorkProviding comprehensive HR advice and support to employer clientsDrafting service agreements contracts of employment staff handbooks and policiesAdvising on employee terminations redundancies restructuring and settlement agreementsManaging disciplinary procedures and internal investigationsAdvising on TUPE matters and boardroom disputesContentious & TransactionalRepresenting clients in employment tribunal and court proceedings (unfair dismissal wrongful dismissal discrimination claims)Supporting corporate transactions with employment due diligence and TUPE adviceDelivering training seminars and legal updatesBusiness DevelopmentDemonstrating strong business development and marketing skillsContributing to the firms social media and thought leadership initiativesBuilding and growing client relationshipsAbout YouYoull be a qualified Solicitor CILEX or FILEX member with:Essential Experience & Skills5 years post-qualification experiencein employment lawStrong technical knowledge of employment law with proven ability to deliver profitable workExcellent client care skills and commitment to service excellenceProven track record of developing and growing client relationshipsExperience acting for employers on a wide range of mattersYour ApproachDedicated to providing excellent client serviceTeam player with a can-do attitude who goes the extra mileStrong judgement maturity and risk awarenessPositive attitude and genuine interest in promoting the firms reputationPride in your work and commitment to excellenceWhat Youll ReceiveCompensation & Financial BenefitsSalary: (depending on experience)Firm-wide and fee-earner bonus schemesAutomatic enrolment to contributory corporate pension scheme (salary sacrifice)Access to afinancial wellbeing platformWork-Life Balance & FlexibilityHybrid workingarrangements25 days holiday per year rising by one day per year of service (maximum 30 days)Monthly one-to-ones and six-monthly appraisalsSupportive nurturing working environmentHealth & WellbeingAutomatic enrolment to Employee Assistance ProgrammeHealthcare Cash Plan (after probation) covering dependantsDesignated Social and Wellbeing champions in each officeWellness initiatives including social walks book clubs and charitable activitiesAnnual staff events (summer Christmas quarterly office lunches staff quiz)Career DevelopmentStructured career pathwith clear progression opportunitiesSupported and mentored professional developmentOpportunities to lead and grow the employment law offeringAccess to training and continued learningAbout Our ClientOur client is a respected regional law firm with five offices across Hertfordshire Essex and London.
