Job DescriptionJob description Motor Mechanic We are a busy independent MOT test and repair centre looking to employ an experienced Motor Mechanic in Bath.The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in a similar role, can work independently, use their initiative and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.The role is full time Monday- Friday working hours are 8am-5pm. Opportunity for extra hours on Saturday mornings if wanted. Job Roles Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and general repairs. Communicate with customers to understand issues, concerns and provide work estimates. Accurately use diagnostic equipment to investigate vehicles issues. Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and tidy. Clutches and timing belts. Candidate expectations Have a full clean UK driving license. 5+ years' experience. Own your own tools. Ideally you will be qualified to NVQ level 2/3, City of Guilds or equivalent. A MOT qualification (desirable but not essential) Friendly and presentable.The successful applicant will need to have great attention to detail, be flexible, hardworking and be able to work well under pressure.
