Youll carry out a wide range of external repairs and groundworks, including brickwork, paving, drainage, and reinstatement, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations and resident needs. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where youll be responsible for delivering efficient, safe, and professional repairs across occupied and void properties. Responsibilities Carry out day-to-day groundworks and brickwork repairs, reinstatement and renewals. Undertake tasks such as paving, concrete works, minor drainage repairs, fencing, and path reinstatement. Deliver high-quality workmanship, ensuring all works are completed on time and to specification. Conduct risk assessments and comply with all Health & Safety requirements. Record work accurately via the Axis mobile app and submit all required documentation. Collaborate with supervisors, planners and admin teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in good condition. Support apprentices and uphold Axiss high standard of customer service. Work across occupied residential properties and be available to participate in out-of-hours support or emergency callout rota when required. About You Youre a practical, dependable tradesperson with strong groundworks and bricklaying experience. You take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and are committed to delivering a safe, high-quality service to residents and clients. Requirements Proven experience in bricklaying and groundworks within social housing or maintenance environments Valid CSCS card Health & Safety training (Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights, etc.) Ability to read and follow job instructions accurately Full UK driving licence and well-maintained tool kit Excellent time management and communication skills Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Our Commitment Many faces, One Axis.Were proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
