Process Engineer Location: Gloucester Contract: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an aerospace client based in Gloucester, who are looking for a process quality engineer to join the team. As Process Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for driving the optimisation and improvement of the organisation’s manufacturing operations The role will also support the effective introduction of new products and processes, ensuring that methodologies are applied to their design and implementation in the manufacturing facility. Role Responsibilities – Process Engineer Carry out daily process engineering activities within the assigned value stream using standardised tools and procedures. Work with Quality Engineering to complete PFMEAs, Control Plans, and implement effective process controls. Maintain accurate Standard Operating Instructions and detailed production process maps using tools such as VSMs, Yamazumi charts, and time studies. Develop and manage efficiency improvement plans to enhance production flow, reduce waste, and lower costs. Manage tooling, analyse manufacturing data, and provide technical support to resolve issues and improve OEE. Support new product and process introductions, Lean events, and cross-functional root cause analysis activities.
