Claims Specialist – Renewable Energy

What the day will look like

In this exciting role, you will be engaged in the management and administration of new and existing notifications, collections and the successful resolution of a portfolio of Renewables claims, within the Energy sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Dealing with first notification of claims and understanding / learning about the scope of coverages in place
  2. Dealing with markets, client and placement teams, network offices, underwriters and appointed third parties (loss adjusters, lawyers etc)
  3. Helping facilitate and follow up on the payment and settlement of claims for clients with underwriters
  4. Coordinating discussions, meetings and technical support to facilitate a superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the handling and settlement of claims
  5. Conducting data analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio, and to identify trends and patterns in claims for a client or business segment
  6. Liaising with other teams as necessary to ensure sharing of relevant information and any other tasks that Aon and your line manager might reasonably require

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  1. Experience dealing with renewable claims from First Notification of Loss to resolution
  2. Ideally a knowledge of Energy claims and confidence to help coordinate and be involved with discussions with our networks, clients, underwriters and experts
  3. Experience of the CLASS and ECF Processing system (preferable)
  4. Proficient in Word and Excel
  5. Strong Interpersonal skills
  6. A-level or equivalent and Cert CII desirable
