The role involves working on high-precision projects, focusing on CNC milling, 5-axis machining, and advanced materials such as carbon fiber. The position offers an hourly rate of £18-£22, 20 days annual leave, and overtime paid at 1.5x the standard rate. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines for high-precision component production. Program, edit, and optimize machining processes using Heidenhain controls. Work with advanced materials like carbon fiber to create components for industries such as motorsport. Perform quality checks to ensure components meet strict specifications and tolerances. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes. Use Visi machining CAM software for offline programming. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in CNC milling and 5-axis machining.
